Ep.5: How Costly Is A "Simple" Mistake?

"PROGRESS over PERFECTION" can be a real cop out for sloppy work when used out of context. Without intending it to be so, our "minor mistakes' can turn into very costly "silent bleeds".

Often a simple oversight or a lack of personal quality control over our own work standards can cause the correction of the task to be handled 5-6 times. That becomes very costly over time.

We don't do anyone any favors by overlooking what can seem like minor errors ... progress, in and of itself, is not enough.

Yes, everybody makes mistakes, but should we be so complacent about them, and what can we do to minimise them going forward?
